                                                    Spot Healing Brush Tools

This is my Spot Healing Brush assignment. In this assignment, I used the Spot Healing Brush Tool in order to remove the "unnecessary" objects in my image to create the before and after. In this image as before, this takes place in Roosevelt Island and across from it is the cityscape of Manhattan. And we see the leaves from the tree hanging in the image.  Well, using the Spot Healing Brush tool, I used it to remove the leaves. I first did alt and click on the sky in order to have the blue sky to be shown when I remove the leaves. I slowly removed the leaves using the brush tool, I started with a the top and slowly moved my way down to remain further leaves in the image. Overall, the result doesn't really look good in my opinion. I think having the leaves hanging in the image looks better as without it leaves, the image looks very bland and basic. But I had to do it anyway for this project.

Clone tool

This is my Clone tool assignment, in this assignment I constant clone or repeated the object. In this before image, this took place in the Roosevelt Island. I took this picture of seemingly to be the picture of Long Island City due to the recognizable buildings. Well, using the clone tool, I constantly repeated the buildings in order to fill up the empty spaces that lined up the buildings. I constantly used the Clone tool, I first alt and click on the building that I want to use. Then I brushed on the empty area to make the building to appear. I repeatedly used various buildings and constantly cloned/paste it in every parts of the empty spaces. In the end, we end up getting a Long Island City version of Manhattan where the Queens and Manhattan got combined into a one whole borough. It also gives off a "utopia" vibe where it ends up looking like the future cityscape of New York City.

Content aware Tool

This is my content aware assignment, where I remove an object from an image using the lasso tool. In this image, this takes place in Flushing Meadow Park where you have this globe standing in the middle. Well I used the lasso tool to remove the globe. So I used the lasso tool to click, hold and outline the globe. Once I finished outlining, I went to Edit and then Fill, when I clicked Fill. We have Content, Option, Blending and Preserve Transparency. Well, I went to Content and I clicked Content Aware. Then I clicked Fill, shortly after the globe disappeared. However, after getting rid of the globe, there were some mistakes such as there were two planes in the after image meanwhile there were only one plane in the before image. I decided to leave it as I find this pretty unique as I further infer this as some sort of a plane war going on a nice weather. Another thing I noticed is the clouds, I noticed how attached the clouds are and most of the so attached to one another that it looks like a giant cloud bird. Unlike the other assignment I did for the Retouching techniques, I think the content aware is the best of the three because of how you can be able to make a lot of difference and observation between the before and after.
